111 Mercer Street | Clothing Retail
SoHo, NY
3,300 SF | Renovation

This new tenant slipped into the ground floor of a cast iron building indicative of retail in the heart of Manhattan’s SoHo district. Working hand-in-hand with talented interior designers, DCP was able to help coordinate a project through the municipal gates of the Department of Buildings and the Landmarks Preservation Commission to usher in the next generation of inhabitants for this storefront.

Even when new retail spots are replacing previous retail tenants, the level of specificity for high end experiences call for design and coordination that are all too often strikingly similar to building out a virgin space. This project was no exception. Only through a careful orchestration of existing systems and their required manipulation was the project able to end up with a clean and perhaps deceivingly simple downtown countenance.
