This intimate office space on Manhattan’s Upper West Side serves as another testament to the universal truth of projects in New York—utilizing every square inch of space is critical. The client’s needs for both personal practice and affordability of maintaining the property directed the renovation to an outdated layout with every space suffering from lack of maintenance and neglect.

A series of rooms in what was a former medical office turned into a pair of office spaces and supporting utilities with every space showcasing the integration of millwork to capitalize on storage and organization. The result is an undercurrent of customization that leave each space, regardless of size, feeling tailored and choreographed for its best intended use.
